yes. there are. And they are kind, friendly, they will help you. You just go to the building for international stundents.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Toyama?

Nothing special, in my poor experiences about it. Ramen or "Sake" diners are popular.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Toyama?

Matsuya, Sukiya, "kaiten" Sushi like Hamasushi and Kurasushi are cheap and good enough.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Toyama in the future?

It's easier to live here than some big cities like Tokyo or Osaka. So it's less interesting and convenience.
