24 year old Brooklyn born culinary school student at Le Cordon Bleu Tokyo looking for apartment near Shinjuku, Tokyo

Konnichiwa!~ 

My name is Maya Rose and I am looking for an apartment close to the Shinjuku area of Tokyo. I am starting school at Le Cordon Bleu Tokyo to study Japanese Cuisine in October and my priority is finding a place with an easy commute to my school which is located in the Shinjuku area. 

A little about me, I am 24 years old and am born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. I went to Penn State University where I majored in theatre and worked as an actor, director, producer and stage manager. After graduating, I ended up competing and being named one of the 43 best home cooks in America on FOX's MasterChef with Gordon Ramsay. This experience pushed me to follow my culinary dreams and study Japanese cuisine in Tokyo. 

I love to cook (obviously) and am always down to cook a family meal for the roommates. I am also a huge art lover and really enjoy going to museums and shows. My culinary school schedule is from around 3:30 pm to 10 pm so I will be in class during the evenings and plan to teach English online (I am also TEFL certified) during the days. I am very studious and focused on school but would also love to meet people to go out and explore Tokyo with!
