What is it like to live in Tirane? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

The infrastructure of Tirana is pretty underdeveloped but the city itself and the people are full of life. You can go to the store to buy a beer and end up talking for an 1 1/2. The food is great and cheap. Go the zgara, basically BBQ restaurants with cheap beer, raki (homemade alcohol) and different types of meat.

What is the student lifestyle like in Tirane?

Relaxed. Everything revoles around drinking a coffee (for hours), business and please alike. People don't eat out that much but spend the evenings drinking coffee or beer with friends in open air bars.
