I found the program I wanted in Tilburg.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
10 Months, 1000 Euros.
What is the student lifestyle like in Tilburg?
It is very good.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Tilburg to other students?
Yes I would, really nice place.
What is the food like?
Food isn't great, Dutch food, but go the a shop buy your own and cook it, then it's pretty good.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Tilburg?
No, but the deposit once found was rather large.
How much does it cost to live in Tilburg?
476 Euros a month (Talent Square).
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Yes, I am Afrikaans so dutch is easy, Tilburg does offer language courses.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Tilburg from your city?
By bicycle.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Tilburg?
The city centre, or buy a crate of beer and head to someone's house.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Tilburg?
Happy Italy.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
La Trappe, the Brewery.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Tilburg in the future?
Be prepared for lots of rain.
