What is it like to live in The Hague? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

This specific city is very much international. People from around the world are living in the Hague. Also ther eis a lot of international students.

What is the student lifestyle like in The Hague?

There are many student parties organized and during the day time students hang out at cafe's or even the university campus

How much does it cost to live in The Hague?

The living expenses are in between 200 and 600 euros. Most of the private homes are about 400 euros and above.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in The Hague? Is there any advice you can give?

It is not difficult to find accommodation but you need to start searching for a room on time. Because there is a lot of students who also are constantly seeking for rooms etc. If you start searching for a room you need to do this at least 2 months before you move.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

In this city you can find a lot of Korean, Chinese and Japanese restaurants which are amazing. Besides that you also have the traditional fast food chains like MacD's, Burger King, KFC, Subway, Domino;s piza. During winter season there is a lot of waffles sold on the street. And what is typically Dutch is eating French fries with a lot of mayonnaise.

What places would you recommend visiting in The Hague?

In the city centre there is a lot of activities going on. So just check out the city centre and you won't have time to explore everything in one day :)

Is it good to eat out in The Hague? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes..most of the restaurants are great!

Is the nightlife good in The Hague? Where is good to go?

There are a lot of clubs and events in the city centre.

What advice would you give future students heading to The Hague?

Start looking for rooms on time!!!!
