What is it like to live in Tetouan? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Living in Tetouan was maybe the best thing that have happened to me.. a lovely cozy charming city that keeps its tradition involved in every single aspect of life. People here are so friendly and welcoming especially with foreigners!

What is the student lifestyle like in Tetouan?

It's full of motivation and living here as a student will allow you to know a different face of the city... in a positive way!

How much does it cost to live in Tetouan?

Living here won't take a lot of expenses.. I can say that 400 euro is sufficient (and you may save some of it too). But it depends on the places you visit as you can spend more or less.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Tetouan? Is there any advice you can give?

No it's not that hard actually.. the advice I can give is that you have to ask for the prices of accommodation it is better to avoid shared flats until you meet some nice people to share the dorm with them. Plus it is better to avoid sharing food expenses with others.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

You can ask about Moroccan food.. has its own reputation dude!

What places would you recommend visiting in Tetouan?

Mountains, the old medina, Mdi'q, Martil, briefly every single spot on the map of this city is full of surprises!

Is it good to eat out in Tetouan? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

It is good! Unlike other Moroccan cities, Tetouan maybe "cleaner" in terms of food making. El faro, La Table du Marché, Marsa, etc...

Is the nightlife good in Tetouan? Where is good to go?

I don't have a great deal of info about it.. for me nightlife means tours in empty streets at (& after) midnight.

What advice would you give future students heading to Tetouan?

You'll be taken care of.. believe me! Just go for it!
