What is it like to live in Tbilisi? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It's a very quiet and a beautiful city to live in .
A lot of expats here and the city is progressive
Love the vibe , people are friendly and the city is growing every day ❤

What is the student lifestyle like in Tbilisi?

Language has been a barrier
As an indian I have faced a lot of racist attitude from the locals also talking about my university it has USMLE based syllabus and the hospital visits are an issue if you dont speak the language

How much does it cost to live in Tbilisi?

I live with 3 other room mates and we live near our college in a 3 bed room apartment for 600$(150$ each ) but you can find cheaper apartments
Also the food cost somewhere around 150$ a month
The rest depends on your lifestyle

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Tbilisi? Is there any advice you can give?

Not at all
The rent is reasonable
But expensive in tourist hot spots
Know your owner well and get a proper contract

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Locals are a huge fan of meat and bread
I come from a very religious background and consume only halal foods which I must say is very difficult for me
Apart from a chain of restaurants in marjaneshvili it is difficult to find halal options
Most of the cafes and restaurants do not know what halal means
