What is it like to live in Tbilisi? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Hello I’m from Georgia, city Tbilisi. Tbilis is one of oldes city, very unique and beautify with interesting history Everything is very convenient transport, prices and food. It’s city for the fun. Georgian people is very friendly and Hospitable.
What is the student lifestyle like in Tbilisi?
Student life is fun in Tbilisi have few nice universities give chance study to reach their dream. If you are hard worker, study well there always will be opportunity for you.
How much does it cost to live in Tbilisi?
Compared to another city’s in the world I can say Tbilisi is one of the cheapest city, for example 5 $ u can have a nice dinner, taxi is very cheap start from 2 $ metro and buss is most cheapest 0. 15-0. 20 $, rent apartment start from 150 $ -400 $ Month depends location, for holiday you can rent nice apartment for 20 $ Per day
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Tbilisi? Is there any advice you can give?
Definitely not difficult, Tbilisi is touristic city so there is always available apartment for you. Specially if you have Georgian friend ask for help they will help you to find apartment so quick or you can ask me help with no problem will help you :)
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
If you like cheese, bread, meat this is city for you definitely try khinkali, khachapuri :)
What places would you recommend visiting in Tbilisi?
Old tbilis is a very interesting city also around Tbilisi have some nice small cities so when u will arrived in Georgia any person can give you nice advice where to visit
Is it good to eat out in Tbilisi? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
Food is very delicious and fresh, Georgia is a wine country so if you are wine lover definitely try.
Is the nightlife good in Tbilisi? Where is good to go?
On old Tbilisi best place for night life and also restaurant in old Tbilisi bars and clubs works until morning you will never get bored :)
What advice would you give future students heading to Tbilisi?
Try to find local friends in Georgia most of new generation speak English they will happily help you to discover country, if you like hiking this is the place to visit :)

thank you for detailed info.i have been there for 2 times..as 5 fingers are not equal , people are not as well....there are good and bad people every where in the world...the taxi drivers in Tbilisi cheat to forigners it happened to me...i met many nice people too..
the immigration is worst at tbilisi airport they are racist..and do not behave like human beings ..they assume themseves that they have landed from moon
there are nice people too...them we as a family love...one of georgian boy is being treated by me as my son
places are really nice ...good locations..historical ..and attractive
