Why did you choose to go to Tbilisi, Georgia?
Georgia is a really nice conducive environment for any kind of studies. You really don't have to worry about anything. The standard of living is high with a very low cost of living.
What is the student lifestyle like in Tbilisi?
The student lifestyle here is typical. there are activities for every and any thing one might be into. its really fun
Would you recommend the city and the University of Tbilisi to other students?
yes. I highly recommend the university of Georgia to anyone coming in.
What is the food like?
good good. lots of cheesy stuff
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Tbilisi?
no. $300 should fetch you a good apartment unless you want a really posh place then budget $500- $600 monthly.
How much does it cost to live in Tbilisi?
As I said earlier the cost of living is really low.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
yes. but the language is not that easy to grip. but you will learn the few single everyday words to help you flow.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Tbilisi from your city?
the metro
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Tbilisi?
yes. Tbilisi is relatively safe at all times. Low crime rates so you're good.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Tbilisi?
there are many good restaurants here. it all depends on your taste.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
the peace bridge. the old churches. the museums etc
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Tbilisi in the future?
just be yourself and make good network too. you will be fine
