Tbilisi is the capital of Georgia. It's an old city with a population of somewhere around one million and a half. It was founded in the 5th century under the reign of Vakhtang I Gorgasali. The legend has it that one day, the King was hunting in the forest and his falcon chased a pheasant. The falcon eventually fell into a hot water spring.

Tbilisi itself is a very colourful city. There are people from all over the world living there. They have different religions and cultures, of course. So, you will see many different churches and distinct areas in Tbilisi. The atmosphere just mirrors the city's cultural heritage.

Getting in Tbilisi, the very first thing tourists want to see is Rustaveli Avenue, I guess, because it's a place where there are the most luxurious hotels and take place many events. On Rustaveli Avenue there is also the former Parliament building.

There are also many different brand shops, cafés, restaurants, McDonald's, Wendy's and museums. You can also attend exhibitions, where you can find lots of stuff, including souvenirs, paintings, decorative objects, and so on. Many people just love this place. It's near the Rustaveli metro stop and McDonald's, so it's really easy to get there.
