The introduction

Hello everyone, I hope, that you are all doing just fine!

In this article I want to tell you about some places in Tbilisi, where you can buy some souvenirs for your friends from other countries in reasonable prices, because there are some popular tourist places, where the souvenirs cost pretty expensive comparing to other places, where you can buy the exact same souvenirs in cheaper prices.

Well, it’s a known fact, that when you arrive in a new country, you want to take a souvenir from there and you always try to find some lovely or interesting souvenirs in that country, however, it’s not always cheap to buy souvenirs in such places, where tourists usually visit.

One should know, where they can buy some cheap souvenirs, otherwise, they will have to pay too much money in just those souvenirs, if you want to know the truth. Sometimes people just want to buy souvenirs, so that they can take them to another country while visiting someone or something like that and they want to take something from their country to give their foreign friends something from their country. And since I live in Tbilisi and I have seen many places, where you can buy Georgian souvenirs, I can tell you about them and you won’t have to pay much money in those souvenirs, which you can easily buy somewhere else in cheaper prices.

The places

The main place for souvenir shopping in Tbilisi is a place of Abanotubani, where there’s a main tourist destination and, hence, they have plenty of souvenirs there, which cost about 5 Laris. However, you can also buy them on Rustaveli avenue nearby the Rustaveli metro station, where they also have some good paintings sold.

The cheapest souvenirs you can buy in Pasazhi shopping center on the Station Square near the Station Square metro station, where you can also buy some other things, such as Churchkhelas (Georgian national sweet) and drinks in reasonable prices.

You will also find great souvenirs in East Point shopping and entertainment center at the eastern end of Tbilisi.
