The introduction

Hello everyone, I hope, that you are all doing just fine!

In this article I want to tell you about me visiting this another place in Tbilisi, which I found very interesting and worth visiting. It’s called “Le Monde” and it’s a café or something like that in the heart of Tbilisi. Well, it’s not the heart of Tbilisi, however, it’s located in a pretty busy place in Tbilisi, where people move around and they love going nearby, so that it’s a pretty good idea to have a café there, which offers people variety of food in reasonable prices. It is a really good place to hang out and have some snacks or even big lunch or dinner. The place is pretty comfortable to get to, however, it's not when you are going there by your car, because there's no place for parking most of the times.

About Le Monde

So, Le Monde is located in Saburtalo in Tbilisi and it's one of my favourite places in Tbilisi, if you want to know the truth, because it's an amazing place with reasonable prices. 

The cafe hasn't been open for a very long time and it is kind of a new place. Its interior is very well decided and I really like everything there inside.

European café-bakery Le Monde arrived in Tbilisi in 2016 and it conquered the sphere with its unique dishes and reasonable prices. It became very popular very soon and many people go there to have dinner there.

The Le Monde café is located on D. Gamrekeli no.2, it is a former Kutuzovi street and it’s just nearby the Carrefour supermarket on Saburtalo, which, I think, everyone knows, because people just go shopping there in Carrefour.

The café is open 24 hours, so that it’s not  a problem if you want to eat something in the middle of the night and you don’t have anything at home. You can just go there at Le Monde and eat something very delicious there.

You can also have online orders on www.male.ge or on www.menu.ge and there’s Le Monde café there, too, and you can choose which dishes or products you want and they will deliver them to you.

You can also call them on 591 90 88 00 and ask anything or have some information or things like that.

They have their web page on Facebook,where you can see the menu and the description of the dishes or the news and offers, etc.

The menu

Le Monde has its own unique menu and their dishes are very delicious. they also add some new dishes to the menu and there are lots of dishes there, which you can’t really choose from, because you want to taste all of their dishes, however, the portions are pretty large and they are even more than enough for one person, I must say.

They have many different dishes including pizzas and bakery and simple dishes and original dishes, etc. Their pizzas are very large and not very expensive and people love them, because they are very delicious and different from other pizzas in other bakeries or cafes, if you want to know the truth.

Moreover,  expect from the pizzas, there are many pastas, which are pretty popular among people, too, and they are all different and unique and people just love them.

We shouldn’t miss the chance to taste the conditery of this Le Monde café, because the cakes there are just so delicious and so beautiful, that you might want to eat all of them, however, it’s pretty much not possible, I must say.

Salads

Well, starting from the salads, of course, they have the Greek Salad and Caesar Salad, however, they also have some other interesting salads, such as Mango salad, which has chicken fillet, mango, sour cream, banana and ruckola, which are placed in mango skin cut into half and it’s a pretty great salad, however, it costs somewhere about 13 Laris, but is worth tasting.

You will notice, that most of the salads are prepared with chicken filletsand , hence, they are pretty good to eat. And you should consider somewhere about 10 laris for the salads in average, because it depends on the salad that you order.

Cream-soups

Moving on to the cream-soups, they have pretty good ones, I must say. You can have that famous pumpkin cream-soup or broccoli cream-soup or mushroom or tomato or cheese cream-soup. Almost all of them have cream in them except from the tomato cream-soup. Only the cheese cream-soup costs a little bit more, it’s 8.50 laris and others cost about 5 laris in average.

Soups

They also have some delicious soups. There’s this Minestrone _ a vegetable soup, and there’s chicken soup and beef coup and salmon soup, and, I must say, that though the salmon soup costs a little bit more _ 7 Laris, it’s worth tasting, because it’s very delicious and if you love fish, you should definitely check it out. I have tasted it and it is really good, trust me and for the fish lovers, it's just a must-taste dish there. Other soups are about 5 Laris, too, in average.

Hot dishes

You can also have some great hot dishes, which are pretty good and various with beef and chicken fillets and mushrooms and salmon, etc. their average price is 10 Laris, however, this thing of salmon steak with cream and caviar costs about 20 Laris, but is worth tasting.

I have tasted Livorno, too, and it’s beef pieces with soya sauce and bell peppers and it was just very delicious and worth trying.

Of course, they have garners like French fries and Mexican potatoes and potato puree and rice and vegetables and they cost 3 laris in average, if you want to know the truth.

Pastas

There are different pastas and they cost about 10 laris in average, however, they are really more than enough for just one person and you should consider that.

What most of the people love is this Pene with four types of cheese and it’s very delicious, I must say.

You can also have a Bolognese or pesto or tagliattelewith salmon or chicken or mushrooms. There’s also carbonara and pasta with seafood, etc.

Pizzas

There are some different types of pizzas and they cost about 11 laris on average and they are pretty large, so that the price is very good and the pizzas are very delicious, I must say.

You can have pizza Margarita for 8 laris and that is the cheapest , however, it’s not my favourite one, because it doesn’t really have anything except from mozzarella and tomato sauce.

You can have Primavera pizza if you want to have the vegetable pizza, because it only has vegetables, such as zucchini and eggplants and bell peppers.

I think, if you love having too many things on your pizza, you should take the pizza Mix, which has cheese and ham and mushrooms and sausage and cucumber pickles on the topping.

They also have pizza Pepperoni _ one of my favourites, which I usually prepare at home. And you can also have pizza with seafood, which I haven’t tasted yet, but it sounds very interesting.

Crepes

You can have this very popular crepe with bananas and chocolate paste for 5 laris. However, there are also crepes with spinach or chicken or ham and cheese or mushrooms, however, they cost more than 5 laris, if you want to know the truth.

Bakery

There are of course, some Khachapuris and Lobianis prepared in Le Monde, which are Georgian dishes and they are very popular among fast food here. You can also have a mushroom pie or dried bread or bruschetta, too.

Sandwiches

The sandwiches cost 5 laris and are of different types. For example, you can have a veggie sandwich or club sandwich with chicken fillet and egg and ham and cheese. You can also have sandwich with ham and cheese, or sandwich with salami and cheese, or sandwich with chicken fillet. And you can choose between baguette and brioche and croissant to be the sandwich prepared from.
