The introduction

Hello everyone! I hope that you are all doing just fine!

In this article I want to tell you about this supermarket called Europroduct, which is a great supermarket I must say, and I just found out about it recently.

Well, I had known about the supermarket for a long time, however, I hadn’t visited it because I had just seen one branch of it on Nutsubidze Street and I didn’t usually stop on that place, and I thought that it was just like any other small markets. And that’s why I didn’t want to visit that place. However, then after some time, I saw the advertisement on Facebook. I went on their web page and saw some interesting things and products there. I remember that I was going to prepare some tiramisu and I needed some heavy cream, which I couldn’t find in Fresco or Goodwill supermarkets and then I saw a heavy cream and mascarpone cheese on Europroduct supermarket’s web page and that was when I first visited it.

About Europroduct supermarket

Well, the supermarket chain was opened on December the 1st in 2014. Its main mission is to offer people ecologically fresh and clean products, which are of high quality.

The working hours of Europroduct supermarket are from 8:30 a. m. till 11 p. m, so don’t you think that it’s 24 hours open!

They also have their web page www.europroduct.ge and they are also on Facebook. You can search for Europroduct and you will find them easily there. I usually visit their page on Facebook to get some news and information about the sales that they have that day and they have some pretty good sales weekly or so, so that you should visit them at that time to get advantage of them.

The locations

Europroduct has some branches throughout the city of Tbilisi, however, there are not many of them.

First of all, I must tell you about this one on Nutsubidze Street, just nearby the street, where you go up towards the Nutsubidze Plateau the 3rd. There’s a bus station in some metres and you can take a bus n°. 99 or 6 or 49 and get out of it on a bus station after you see the Europroduct supermarket on your right side. So, it’s pretty easy to get to that store. I usually take the metro to Delisi metro station and from there I take the bus n°. 99 or 49 to the Europroduct supermarket.

The other Europroduct supermarket is located on Lubliana Street, just until you get to Iashvili Children’s Central Hospital. It’s a pretty large store there, however, I haven’t visited that one, so that I can’t really say anything about it.

Well, there’s another Europroduct store in Tbilisi, which is located nearby the Philharmony Concert Hall. It’s just on a parallel street on the right side. I have been there once and I took the bus n°. 150 from Pekini Avenue and there was a bus stop nearby the Philarmony Concert Hall and then I walked a little bit to the Europroduct supermarket there.

The other Europroduct store has just been opened nearby the Technical University metro station and I just saw it the other day, which made me very happy because it’s very close to the metro station and I can just use metro to get there and not change with other transportations and things like that to get to that supermarket.

One of the Europroduct stores is located on Pekini Avenue n°. 39 and I have been there more often than in other their stores, though it’s not very easy to get to. I mean, I used to come out of the Medical University metro station and then just walk for about 10 minutes or so to the Europroduct store.

The products

Me visiting Europroduct supermarket

Well, after that time, when I wanted to prepare the tiramisu cake and went to Europroduct for some heavy cream and mascarpone, I hadn’t been there for a while because it was not on my way home or whatever and besides the products there were kind of more expensive than they were in other supermarkets. Therefore, I didn’t really want to spend more money there when I could just spend less in other supermarkets, which were just nearby my house.

After some time, I went on their Facebook web page and I saw their sales for that week or so and there was this very interesting thing. It was a two potion tiramisu with 80 grams each and it only cost about 6 laris or so. It really excited me because I have seen those frozen tiramisu packages in Goodwill supermarket and it was really expensive, and now that I had seen this small one with that great price. I decided to pay a visit to the Europroduct supermarket and buy that tiramisu.

I must tell you that when I was in Denmark I found that kind of tiramisu dessert in Netto supermarket and it was just like that one, however, it was another company. The prices were kind of the same here and there and I really liked that one in Denmark, so that I thought that the one that they had in Europroduct supermarket in Georgia would be delicious too.

So I went to the Europroduct supermarket to buy that tiramisu dessert and have a taste of it. However, when I got there, I looked around and didn’t see any tiramisu dessert there, instead, there were all those truffle desserts, which I didn’t want. Then I asked to one girl there about the tiramisu dessert and she told me that they had some in the refrigerator. It was not in vain that I went all the way to the Europroduct supermarket.

Well, I tasted that tiramisu dessert and it was pretty delicious, I must say and I liked it very much. So if anyone wants to have some tiramisu dessert in a reasonable price and just a portion that is enough for just one person, they should go to this Europroduct supermarket and buy it.
