Generally, what is State University of New York at New Paltz like?
I spent four wonderful years at SUNY New Paltz and it was a great undergraduate program. Most of all was its location. A two hour bus ride from NYC and a few minutes drive from the Shawangunk mountain ridge.
What are the facilities like?
The buildings are mostly post war modern architecture. It seems standard to me with most universities. Though the appeal of the buildings desing is not a strong suit.
What are the tutors like?
Pretty good.
Are the lessons easy in State University of New York at New Paltz?
I would say the gen eds are about average.
Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?
There are plenty of activities for international students provided through the school, the international students union, the regular student union, and the clubs.
Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?
Overall the teaching was one of the strongest suits of the school.
