Very varied. Around 20% of the student population is foreign. There are several local cafés and bars. The first 2 weeks are an intensive course. It wasn't a problem.
What is the most economical way of arriving from Strasbourg from your city?
The most affordable way is with the airline 'lowcost' from a big city such as Barcelona or London, arriving in Basel in Switzerland or Baden Baden in German and then taking a form of transport such as the train which will cost you 15 euros.
