Erasmus experience

Strasbourg is an amazing Erasmus city. Everyone here is a student or works in the University field, so it's a very young city and you will have so much fun with all the things to do!

The costs in France are generally a bit expensive. I found an accomodation through my University: I spent 170€ per month and I had a single room, but bathroom and kitchen were to share. It was a great experience, though, I sincerely thought having to share the bathroom and the kitchen would be much much worse! But you have to remember that there's a deadline for applications to dormitory and if you foget about it they are comprehensive, even you are from another State. In that case, facebook groups, websites such as Lacarteàcolocs and Leboncoin are the right ones for you. It's easiest if you are in Strasbourg while finding houses. 

Since there are many students, partying and making friends it's really easy. ESN works well: on Mondays there's Café des Langues, in which you will meat literally everyone.

I loved Au Brasseur, la Taverne Française, l'Académie de la Bière, la Mandragore, la Kulture and Caupona (they are all bars/pubs where you can find a good beer and music)
