In December 2009, my boyfriend and I spent three nights in this boat hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience! He, on the other, didn't care for it too much. I love the idea of sleeping on a boat.. even if it is docked.
The room was rather small, as was the private bathroom. There was not much space for luggage, so if you are toting a lot of luggage, this might also be a problem for you. The part that my boyfriend hated the most was the mini-double bed. The room was advertised for two people, but it really would have been much more comfortable for just one person. It would hardly be able to fit two large people. The bedspread was also very short and couldn't easily cover us both at the same time. So, needless to say, we were quite cozy during our stay... and one of us was usually cold at night. Despite the size the bathroom and room were very clean.

The hotel itself was very cozy. Since we stayed near Christmastime, there were Christmas decorations all throughout the boat. The top level of the boat housed a very, very nice and cozy sitting area - it was perfect with the lit Christmas tree.
There is also a bar and restaurant and breakfast area. The breakfast was typical for Scandinavia - breads, cheese, meat, vegetables - and it was all fresh and good. We each bought a glass of wine from the bar - don't! You'll break the bank! This hotel's bar is not cheap. At all.
Location
The hotel is only a short walk to the old downtown Stockholm area (maybe about 10 minutes or so). The nearest metro station is at the top of a hill, which is directly behind the hotel. There are many stairs that you can take to climb the hill (it's pretty big) and you have to jay-walk across a fairly busy road, so if you are carrying a lot of luggage, you might want to consider taking a taxi cab instead of walking to the hotel. We were travelling light, so it wasn't a problem for us and it was the easiest way to get there.

I would stay at the Loginn Hotel again, but if travelling with my boyfriend, I know we would have to look elsewhere.
