Uppsala University
If in Spain is Salamanca or Granada, here, in Sweden is Uppsala. I mean the most popular village or university city. It is in the north of Stockholm, aproximatly one hour by train but it is one of the best in Sweden. It was created in 1447 and it is the oldest in Scandinavia. Their slogan it is “think free is good, think right is better”.
It is a very elitist university and exigent with all their students. I have some Erasmus friends there and told me it is quite hard to pass the exams and more difficult to get a good grade.
The most remarkable, apart I have said is its architecture degree, as well as literature, history, political science or even music. The students are around 20. 000 because the access is quite complicated.
