Swedish Supermarkets

ICA

ICA is without a doubt one of the most expensive supermarkets in Stockholm. The quality is quite good, and these are always big supermarkets where you can find all kinds of products. They are all over the city, so you won't have any problems finding one.

The Coop

The Coop is a little cheaper than ICA, and it's known for its organic products and in particular for its fish section, which always has a wide range of products which are fairly fresh. You can also get free-range eggs at a reasonable price there - it costs about €1. 50 for a dozen.

Pulsen

This is more of a budget supermarket, but it opens for long hours. The one near where I'm staying, for example, opens at 09:00 and closes at 22:00, so that's one point in its favour! The products aren't always in their proper place, though, and it can be quite difficult to find them. One thing to which stands out is the special offers on products which are near their sell-by date.
