The old Church of Sigtuna, very near the city center, was built in the 13th century and it was uses as well as a Monastery belonged to Dominicans. It is remarkable that this small villige was so important during the Middle Ages because was a point essencial in the Swedish Church. They produce many archbishops that then were distributed for the whole country. Now you can see just remains of the Church.

Near, you can visit the old cementery and the city Hall of Seigtuna. It is a village with a very long story and if you are interesting you can pay for a guide tour and visit the whole city with very good explanations.
