Pressbyrån
Pressbyrån is a Swedish retail company that owns the concept of kiosks and convenience stores, often at or adjacent to railway stations, underground stations, bus terminals or the like. Pressbyrån currently has about 320 stores.
All are operated by franchisees. The Group's objective is, in the Pressbyrån website, having good accessibility both in terms of location and opening hours. Pressbyrån is now owned by the Norwegian Reitan Group (Reitan Convenience Sweden AB is the franchisor of Sweden), which also owns the 7-Eleven, and Rema 1000.
Pressbyrån Extras include eleven specialty store focused on a wide selection of Swedish and foreign magazine titles. Pressbyrån Extra has the same product range as usual Pressbyrån, but with the difference between supply and knowledge of newspapers and magazines are larger than in the Pressbyrån's other stores.
For the customer this means that a Pressbyrån Extra store has a comprehensive range during the year at more than 2, 000 titles, and thus has all of these stores a great surface for magazines. There is one in T-Centralen in Stockholm.
