In French language you also can find some oficial exams, as for example DELF. It is le diploma d´etudes en langue française. Everybody can get it if is not from a francophone country. This exam has very different levels within. You can get A1 or A2: both of them are usually easy. They mean the person has some culture and language about French but is not yet a very good level. When you get B1 or B2, intermediated level is much better.
It means you are able to keep a conversation with people in French with a almost correct grammar, vocabulary, speaking…DELF is a very recommended exam in order to show your knowledge in French language. It is not so popular as FCE or Advance one but very useful to work in France or to study in a French university.
