National day in Sweden

National day in Sweden is also a very important party; they are very proud of their country and flag. On the other hand, also is true that national party has not huge celebrations, just some flags in the balconies… The national day is 6th June, when usually students finish their classes, overall at school because universities usually finish before.

This party became official in 2005 when de Swedish parliament declared like that. The only official act actually is in Skansen museum, where the Swedish monarchy goes to put a new flag. There are as well some little boys and girls that want see the king and the queen that day and give them some presents.

This year I will stay there on 6th june so I guess I will be on Skansen museum and I can tell you more things about the Swedish National Day.
