From Tabacco Factory to a Tea House
The Tea House (Чай във Фабриката) is one of my favorite places in Sofia. It used to be a tabacco factory in the long gone past. Now-a-days it has turned into an amazing small tea house.
The menue includes both food, drinks, some alcohol... The tea, of course, is the most important. There is a great variety and some amazing tastes you have probably never tried before. The food on the menue is the best.
On thursdays there is Ayurveda (a specific type of Indian cuisine). This type of food is always vegetarian and spiced with a great variety of herbs. During the rest of the week the menue is similar. There are some evenings when you can hear good live music, usually Jazz. And guess what! It is one of the favorite places of foreigners in Sofia.
Artistic Place
Important! The Tea House is an artisitc place. You will see beautiful paintings on the walls and even in the bathroom. Do NOT miss the second-hand English bookstore at the back of the Tea House.
