What is it like to live in Sliema? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Living in Sliema has a good feeling. Yes we recommend it. The city of Sliema is very entertaining and is situated near the sea , Many coffee bars and a sun tant is guaranteed.

What is the student lifestyle like in Sliema?

The student they have all in Sliema. Good English learning schools, nice beaches to swim. The university is close by, loads of outdoor activities and the chance to get to know young people from all over the world.

How much does it cost to live in Sliema?

The cost of living in Sliema depends on you. Its easy to go shopping and fresh veg one can buy to very reasonable prices from the vans which go around the city. Take aways, specially maltese take aways are incredible cheap and good.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Sliema? Is there any advice you can give?

In summer its good to book in advance in Sliema. There is also a chance to find a last minute.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food normaly is very good . Many reasonable takeaway shops and  also very good restaurants. Pasta and rabbit dishes are my favourite.

What places would you recommend visiting in Sliema?

Once in Sliema one can take a nice boat tour around Valletta which is very near and non expensive. Along the promenade in Sliema is full of life. Shopping is fun and there is very nice and good choice of fashion.

Is it good to eat out in Sliema? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes it is good to eat in Sliema. The sliema ferrys area are very good restaurants near the sea.

Is the nightlife good in Sliema? Where is good to go?

There are many nice bars in sliema along the promenade with st julians /paceville only 6 minutes away for late night life.

What advice would you give future students headed to Sliema?

Sliema is a nice  city, and easy to make many friends and to communicate in English. Very good place to learn english, and enjoy live.
