As the landscape of siegen like hills and going up and down and environment esp pretty much similar to my homecountry ( where my house is )

Because of university most of the young people one can find are students and are studying. Student friendly environment

Would you recommend the city and the University of Siegen to other students?

Yes, it is very nice place for student esp the rental cost is comparatively low and can get to live in fresh environment

What is the food like?

One can get any kind of food

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Siegen?

Finding an accommodation is totally a challenge in whole EU i guess not only in siegen. But one can get nice einZimmer wohnung in around 300 euro and if planning to live in wg then it could cost ranging from 200-250 euro including neben kosten.

How much does it cost to live in Siegen?

Depending on how one wish to expend his/her money it can totally vary but including rent+ internet + electricity+insurance + tax + food+ extra i think monthly 650-700€ would do fine for a student

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The University of Siegen totally provide their student to learn Deutsch or any other languages for free of cost in university and even provide the fresher's the intensive german course so that they can easily adapt to new environment. Teaching technique is very interactive and teachers are also very friendly and helpful.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Siegen from your city?

One can travel around Siegen through bus or train. However in most of the german cities tramps are not available which is highly because of hilly landscape of the Siegen. There are also places where there are no trains due to very reason. Bus seems pretty easy to grab and go for students. University also give Uniexpress which are pretty faster than other normal bus and directly to university.
