It is very nice to live in Sheboygan and I would recommend it to people who like cities with a decent amount of nightlife, but a lot of culture and really nice people.
What is the student lifestyle like in Sheboygan?
It is exciting and if you know the right places to go you can have fun at several different places for a relatively low price. The people are also very hospitable to everyone.
How much does it cost to live in Sheboygan?
It is relatively cheap to live in Sheboygan. Depending on your personal spending habits, it can cost more or less.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Sheboygan? Is there any advice you can give?
Accommodation is easy to find and relatively cheap. Some good advice is to find neighbors or roommates who you get along with, share the same interests as, and know the city. It will make your time really enjoyable.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
You can chose from a variety of different places to dine at. The specialty is Brats and cheese. Sheboygan inhabitants are traditionally German and therefore eat very traditional German meals. However, you can find any type of food you are looking for if you want to.
What places would you recommend visiting in Sheboygan?
I recommend visiting Lake Michigan beaches, 8th street downtown and outdoor trails.
Is it good to eat out in Sheboygan? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
It is a very good city to eat out at. I have too many favorite spots to count. There is a lot of places with a lot of tradition and culture for a low price.
Is the nightlife good in Sheboygan? Where is good to go?
It is pretty good, head down 8th street downtown or go to Michigan Ave. on the weekends. It is a pretty good time.
What advice would you give future students heading to Sheboygan?
It is not the biggest city with the most stuff to do, but if you're looking for a middle sized city with a lot of tradition, culture, and hospitable people, you will have an awesome unforgettable time.
