Seville. Feria de Abril.
This is the second post dedicated to wonderfully-beautiful city Seville. If you have not read the first one, please read it firstly, because it was about Seville in winter, check it on my blog. Now I would like to talk about Seville in spring - hot, sunny, colorful and bright. The day we went to Sevilla second time was in May, and that time there was happening a fantastic fiesta called 'Feria de Abril.'
Many people came to Seville, wearing beautiful flamenco outfits. There were parades of carriages or riders around the fairground. Many people were dancing 'Sevillanas,' eating tapas, and drinking in so-called 'casetas' - tent pavilions. But, unfortunately, most of the casetas are private, they belong to local families, clubs or other private businesses, so they are open only to members or special guests. However, there are some public as well.
Also, there was an amusement park with different сarousels for children as well as for adults. In addition, a lot of various snacks, sweets, drinks, and gifts were available around.
So, this event is a huge, funny, fabulous party - surely, if you happen to be in Spain after Semana Santa you should come to see what is Feria.
This day, the weather was extremely hot, around thirty degrees and we also walked around the city watching peaceful views next to the river and Torre de Oro.
Also, we went to Metropol Parasol (Las Setas De Sevilla). The ticket price was only three euro (entrance + one drink). Very interesting construction where you can walk enjoying the view of the city.
Seville conquered my heart the previous time, in winter and when I came to Feria in spring, I became much more in love with this stunning fairy-tale city!
