What is it like to live in Seattle? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I absolutely love living in Seattle! It is such a beautiful city surrounded by luscious green everywhere! Yes, the weather is known to be a bit rainy, but that just makes all of us Seattle-its appreciate the sun just that much more when it does decide to show up.

How much does it cost to live in Seattle?

Like all cities, there are going to be plenty of things that cost a lot of money, but the cheaper options are there, you just may need to look a little harder for them. But happy hour deals are great!

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is very good as well as very diverse. We have all cuisines here that are all pretty good. My favorite is this little taco truck that makes the best burritos I've ever had! Also, there are plenty of good Indian restaurants and pizza places and many many more!

What places would you recommend visiting in Seattle?

Fremont. Just north of downtown Seattle is the neighborhood of Fremont. It's still part of Seattle but is very quaint. There is an amazing chocolate shop called Theos that had delicious samples of the chocolate. Also, you'll have to go find the troll that lives under the bridge. Just ask around, everybody will know what you mean and can point you in the right direction.

Is it good to eat out in Seattle? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes! So many great restaurants! It all depends on what your in the mood for. Indian = Shamiana, Mexican = Plaza Garcia, pizza = Via Tribunalli, and much more!

Is the nightlife good in Seattle? Where is good to go?

Yes, I am personally a bigger fan of bars than clubs, so my suggestions will focus more on that. There's: Lot no 3, Oliver's Twist, Three Lions Pub, and countless of places on Capitol Hill.

What advice would you give future students heading to Seattle?

Take advantage of the city and all it has to offer. Explore as much as you can and don't get sucked up by school work. And when there is a sunny day, go outside!
