Having been in a big city like London for an Erasmus internship, I can tell you that studying in a small city has by far a LOT of benefits.
By far the best benefit is the amount of time you can save by living in a small city. Is like living two days in one. Everything takes half of the time.
No traffic, no noise, you have what you need including parties.
