What is it like to live in San Juan? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

When you live in San Juan the people and the experience is overall something different. The people are so nice and they try to show you around, most importantly they're very friendly towards you. I would recommend visiting all of the historic landmarks and try to visit all of the island. Why stay in only one place?

What is the student lifestyle like in San Juan?

The student lifestyle is very active, you can't complain about that. You have different bars and what's really attractive for most people is that you can start to drink when you're 18. If you don't know how to dance, most Puerto Ricans will show you, after all that's one of our favorite activities!

How much does it cost to live in San Juan?

If you know the places that aren't touristic the things will get cheaper. But overall is a little pricey.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in San Juan? Is there any advice you can give?

I would recommend Airbnb or the hotels are excellent.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is the best I've ever had! I love mofongo, arroz con habichuelas, tostones, guineos en escabeche, pernil, alcapurria, arroz con gandules, and others.

What places would you recommend visiting in San Juan?

El Morro, Bioluminescent Bay, El Yunque, Culebra- Flamenco Beach, El Toro Verde, among others.

Is it good to eat out in San Juan? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes! You have to try Raíces, El Verde BBQ, etc.

Is the nightlife good in San Juan? Where is good to go?

Just be yourself and have fun. Be prepared to have one of the best moments of your life!
