Why did you choose to go to Saint Étienne, France?

My university is there.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I already left Saint-Etienne. I stayed for nearly 8 months.

Aid was around 180 euros/month.

It is very nice.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Saint Étienne to other students?

It is not the top quality education, but it is a friendly city, with cheap prices.

What is the food like?

Nice.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Saint Étienne?

Nope.

How much does it cost to live in Saint Étienne?

I had a 18 meter studio for 320 euros/month.

With CAF, it comes down to a small number.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

There are courses, but I didn't get involved.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Saint Étienne from your city?

Anything that goes to Lyon. Then, there is a train almost every hour to Saint Étienne, for nearly 11 euros.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Saint Étienne in the future?

Nothing really, just enjoy the ride.
