What is the student lifestyle like in Rzeszow?

Active and and full of events

Would you recommend the city and the University of Rzeszow to other students?

Yes, you get the full experience, study, party, making friends, extracurricular activities, joining, clubs etc

What is the food like?

Amazing and cheap, they have "Zapiekanka" witch is like a pizza on a half of bread loaf, super good.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Rzeszow?

I stayed in the Dom Studensky witch is the student dorm it was a bit more than 50 euros in 2010 now is a bit less than 100 euros.

How much does it cost to live in Rzeszow?

My scholarship was enough to not miss anything, including field trips, concerts and other student events.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

It is different but you can learn basic conversation it if you try a bit.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Rzeszow from your city?

I took a bus to Budapest and then another bus to Krakow and than the train to Rzeszow, but you can also come to Krakow by plain and take a bus from there.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Rzeszow?

Pod Palma if you are into student partys, Kino or Revolution if you are into clubbing and Carpe Diem if you are into goth rock or metal.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Rzeszow?

There are some nice places you can eat on a student budget like Everest, or Dara kebab they are right in the center square. Or you can always eat at the restaurant in the student dorm.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The catacombs under the city, the museum, the fortress, the university takes the erasmus students on a free trip to Krakow and the Salt Mine.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Rzeszow in the future?

Do not hesitate just go, it will be the best experience of your life plus they organize an amazing barbecue and paintball party every year.
