Why did you choose to go to Rzeszow, Poland?

At first I chose Poland and then I wanted the city not to be big and crowdy, so I decided to study in Rzeszow. But it was great, no regrets.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I have lived in Rzeszow 5 months and I received an Erasmus grant of 600 euro/month. It was more than enough. I spent only 300-400 euro/month and visited all country.

What is the student lifestyle like in Rzeszow?

Student lifestyle is quite good. There are a lot of courses on different departements you can attend, only by asking this, a fact that in my country is impossible.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Rzeszow to other students?

With all my heart, Rzeszow is great.

What is the food like?

At first it is quite different and it is possible not to like it. But after one month I have tried many kind of traditional food, and now I love it. The thing is not be afraid to try.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Rzeszow?

I lived in Student House Filon, and it was about 300 zloty/month (70€) and I applied online. So when I arrived in Rzeszow I already knew where was my room.

How much does it cost to live in Rzeszow?

As I said about 300-320 zloty/month (70-90€), two years ago.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

For me the language was too difficult to learn. But I took a course of Polish language for free and I have learn the basic of Polish.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Rzeszow from your city?

I tried the bus and the train to travel from Romania and back so the prices are almost the same. The plane is for sure more expensive.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Rzeszow?

Rzeszow can become boring after one or two months concerning the night life. Krakow is better. In Rzeszow I liked Chilli Club.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Rzeszow?

In the Old Quarter there are many restaurants. It's up to you which one is the best. But don't forget to try Polish food.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The Old City Square, museums.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Rzeszow in the future?

Anything you want to do, during your Erasmus days, don't think twice, just do it! And Rzeszow is a city you will fall in love with.
