Master Program Medical Biology at Radboud

First of all, Nijmegen is a very nice city to live in: it's not too crowded, but the student community makes it a vibrant city. This also makes it easy to build up a social life, especially since students from all over the world live here.

I think the facilities for foreign students are great, providing everything you need from accomodation to a personal mentor and help to feel at home here.

Overall, the services and facilities for students at our university are excellent: there are plenty of possiblities to study in quiet study areas and libraries, but if you want to hang out with your friends the canteen and the restaurant are the place to be.

Concerning academics: teachers are genuine and kind and they have considerable know-how and experience in their field of research. Moreover, this study really prepares you well for a future career in biomedical sciences, and graduates are considered to have good job opportunities because of the high standards of education they received.

As to costs and funding, the university has scholarships and funds for international students. Life in Nijmegen is not by far as expensive as in Amsterdam, Rotterdam or Utrecht. The monthly rent for a small room is around 300 euros, if you are looking for something bigger this will be around 500-700 euros.
