Top Tips: paperwork
Today we want to gather some of the most useful tips that our users have shared regarding all the paperwork that needs to be fulfilled before and during an Erasmus program. This is probably the hardest part and usually takes a lot of patience and time.

Firstly complete a rough draft of the learning agreement but try not to think that this is the definite version, as you will probably have to change it in the future if your courses overlap. Being flexible is the best way to success, you may even find new courses that suit better your interests once you are in your host university.
Once you know which will be your host university find out what kind of accommodation is available for students in the city, sometimes the university will help you applying for a place in student dormitories but some others you will have to sort it out on your own, if you have to seek a shared apartment it isn’t recommended to make tenancy agreements without visiting the property first.
Before going to your new destination it is advisable to know how you’ll manage your funds there, opening a bank account may be an option or keep using your usual bank account with credit/debit card depending on the fees that you are charged every time you use them abroad.
