Why did you choose to go to Roskilde, Denmark?
Because I really wanted to discover Scandinavia and its culture.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
It was around 10 months and I didn't receive so much money. I survived thanks to my parents. Denmark is not the kind of country in which you live just with a small amount of money.
What is the student lifestyle like in Roskilde?
It is a quiet town with a big and funny campus. They make a lot of parties.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Roskilde to other students?
Of course. They have an academic program really different and pragmatic based on project groups all the time.
What is the food like?
Vegetables, saumon.. (everything is ecologic).
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Roskilde?
No, the university helps you to find accommodation in the campus.
How much does it cost to live in Roskilde?
Roskilde is cheaper than Copenhagen. However still is an expensive town.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available in the University?
English lessons.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Roskilde from your city?
By plane.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Roskilde?
There are a few bars but if you wanna go out, I suggest you going to Copenhagen, 40 minutes away from Roskilde.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Vikings museum and the cathedral.
Is there any other advice that you could give to future students who are going to Roskilde?
Bring money!
