20 year old Cambridge student is looking for accommodation in Rome for July

Hi,
I am a student from Cambridge Uni in the UK. I'm on my Erasmus year and will be working at a newspaper in Rome for all of July. I want to find cheap accommodation, possibly with nice Italian young people , or just a studio or room.
I'll be working in the Vatican area - by St Peters - so somewhere near there would be perfect!
