How long does the grant last? How much money do you recieve as aid?

€5000 a year.

How is student life in Rio de Janeiro?

Very good with people from all over the world in good harmony. You can meet many people, due to the open mentality of the people from Rio de Janeiro.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Rio de Janeiro to other students?

Of course. It's an incredible experience for anybody of a different culture. It enriches you personally, to get to know other ways of seeing life.

How is the country's food?

Reasonable. There is a lot of variety and there are very delicious things. However each to their own. I prefer Spanish.; )

Was it hard to find accommodation in Rio de Janeiro?

Not at all. There are many possibilities at all prices.

How much does it cost to live in Rio de Janeiro?

Between €200 and €400.

How is the language? Did you go to any courses at the University?

No. I only learnt by talking to people. It's easy to learn if you set out too.

What's the most affordable way to get to Rio de Janeiro from your city?

By plane.

Which places would you recommend to go out to party in Rio de Janeiro?

There are many possibilities depending on the consumer’s taste. With so many options, everybody can find their place in which they can have a good time.

I don't have a specific place. Any place is good.

Any advice that you want to give to future students of Rio de Janeiro?

Have an open mentality and be up for anything if you have to be. Be careful in the city centre at night. They say it's dangerous because of possible assaults. Nothing happened to me personally but it doesn't hurt to take precaution and pay attention.
