Accomodation in Riga

Hello everybody!  For 5 months, starting from August 2012 till January 2013 i will be a student at University if Latvia and i haven't decidet yet about my accomodation. i have heard that Green Apple hostel is a good place but i don'y know..Can anybody help me with some more information pls?? ;)

hey, have u tried posting your ad on the www.riga-guide.com/talks ? I would reccomend doing so, as I found my accomodation thorugh those guys last time for a month. They have a facebook group: www.facebook.com/rigaguide too, so your message will reach the destination. let me know if you need help. I know guys, admins there, so can help you more.

I advice you NOT to go to green apple hostel...you are used to flats this is not the right place for you. there are plenty of rooms and the kitchen is not big enough for everyone. for almost the same price you can rent your own room in a flat. check this site!  (i have been in green apple and i ran away after two weeks!)

it's just in latvian or russian, but you can easily translate with google and btw some announcements are in english. everybody speaks english in riga so you won't have problems in asking info! ;) good luck and enjoy your erasmus!
