My place - my Greece (Practice on Rhodos)

First notification should be about my "second home"

But let's start from the beginning.

My first Erasmus (practic) was in Greece - Rhodos. - It was the faster and one of the best decision in my life.

In few days I left my job, organized everything in Poland - also on my home University (University of Dabrowa Gornicza) and went to Greece.

Of course, first days were really difficult, especially that I never hear Greek language and everybody thought that is so simple and they didn't use English...

Like always you can find some friend, really good friend - soulmate! I found them!

We had a great time together and also they teach me Greek language.

Party almost every evening, coffee time and just time together - is only one sentence which describes most Rhodos island.

Some tips for you about practice:

- always select the good company which will help you with all papers and finds good hotel for your work. (also they should pick up you to the hotel from airport! )

- Take with you a lot of summer clothes but also some warm also, because evenings in September/ October are a little bit cold

- Never stay in one place, when you have the day off - travel! Even it will be only a few hours. You have the opportunity to be in one of the most beautiful places all over the world.

- Meet with Greek people, they are always friendly and they will show you all good things.

- Always say that you are staff ( Discount almost for everything)

- If you rent a car - be careful

- Don't be disappointed when someone sends to you parcel and you will wait for it few weeks

What should you try?

- TZATZIKI!

-Mousaka

-Souvlaki

- Mythos beer

- Pita gyros

-Club sandwich

- Nirvana ice cream (THE BEST ICE CREAM IN MY LIFE! )

and at the beginning, it will be strange but go to Greek club (only with Greek music) When first time I saw how they enjoy the evening I fall in love with them! Especially when someone has birthday and all people in the club singing "xronia polla" (happy birthday) trust me- is amazing!

It's my first notice so try understanding my :)
