Impulse

Greece is miserbale, in a humbling way. It is unsightly in a stunning way, it is uncontainable in a mesmerizing way and yet it is breathtaking in the most astonishing of ways. My love affair with Greece began on an Aegean Airlines window seat as I looked out towards the most flocculent of clouds dancing contemporarily between ocean airs. The magnificent and picturesque island mountains surrounded by turquoise waters and coral reefs had petrified my eyes to the ultimately stunning sight my eyes had ever relished. The drowning sun sealed between the lightly lit sky embracing the shades of purple and orange that were only seen in fairytales almost made me pinch myself to understand if it was real. The LED lit resort pools with varying colors and shapes instantly told me how tourists must love this beautiful island of Greece. I must admit, I was lovesick before even stepping a foot in Greece.

One of my traits that I now embrace is, impulse. This blogpost is a result of it and I am not sure if I will continue writing but that's my hope for now. My only intentions with this blogpost are to save the memory of my fast-fading Erasmus experience somewhere safely and remind myself of how immensly blessed I have been. My first day and arrival in Greece was a rather emotional turn in my life as I had to leave my family behind in Thailand and step out into the real world as a mature and headstrong person, ready to face the system of the world. But anyway, that can be a story for later.
