It was 20 years ago at my 3rd year of university as an exchange student from ITESM i Mexico City to CESEM in Reims, France. After 3 months I could understand French, after 5 I could speak it and after an entire year it became my second language, mostly thanks to the internship I did in Paris where survival language was definitely French. Now quite rusty but still  useful at a professional level.

That's where I met my husband. After meeting in France we travelled the world, lived in Italy, Spain and now in Sweden. 

Erasmus is one the best experiences that ever happened to us :)
