Why did you choose to go to Ravensburg-Weingarten, Germany?
Firstly, because Germany is a great country, and I was really curious to know more about it and it's culture. The German culture is really very decent. Secondly, I've choose Weingarten due to it's tremendous location. Weingarten is located in the borders with Switzerland and Austria. This place is well known of it's stunning landscapes, for example Alps mountains.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
No, I don't have a scholarship. The living costs depend always on you. The range of your living costs maybe from 400 to 600 EURO.
What is the student lifestyle like in Ravensburg-Weingarten?
There're two students' pub next to the university. Furthermore, there are many clubs and pubs distributed in the city.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Ravensburg-Weingarten to other students?
yes, it's nice.
What is the food like?
The number of restaurants is limited. The food mainly is whether typical German food or Turkish. I'd recommend the Turkish food. Moreover, you can eat in the university's dining hall.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Ravensburg-Weingarten?
You've to search two or three months before coming. However, There're two dorms which you can apply for. The priority is always for the new comers.
How much does it cost to live in Ravensburg-Weingarten?
It depends. roughly from 250 to 350 EURO.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
The language is not that easy, but the great fact is, that people are really very friendly and they will try to help whenever you need. yes there is language course in the university and it's for free.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Ravensburg-Weingarten?
Kantina. The most famous pub in Ravensburg
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Ravensburg-Weingarten?
Any Turkish restaurant.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
The Basilika, it's a very old church and it's located in the middle of the city. The city center of Ravensburg is awesome and has many sites and shops etc.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Ravensburg-Weingarten in the future?
the transportation is somehow expensive so it's better to make search about the most cheapest way to get to Weibgarten. There is variety of options to reach to Weingarten, but which one is cheap, this is you have to know.
