What is it like to live in Rabat? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

The city is great, you'll find a different places wherever you can go to, and Il definitely recommend it to any tourist.

What is the student lifestyle like in Rabat?

It is good, and very multicultural since we have a lot of international students in Rabat.

How much does it cost to live in Rabat?

It's not that expensive, but it also depends on the budget of each one, you may live in a great appartement and very big and chic neighborhood but it will cost you a little bit more than a simple appartement.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Rabat? Is there any advice you can give?

No not difficult, but I will certainly recommand you to ask for help to someone from Rabat to find an accommodation.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Morocco is very known for it traditionnal dishes, but we also have in rabat a lot of european restaurant and chinees too, so basically you will not find problems about the food, and my favorite dish is Tagliatelle Carbonara and the traditionnal one is what we called here " Rfissa "and the Pastilla.

What places would you recommend visiting in Rabat?

The old Médina of Rabat and Chellah there are historical sites, and for shopping the Mega Mall or Mahaj Ryad, and also Agdal oh and Marjane the one who's located in Hay Ryad.

Is it good to eat out in Rabat? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes it is. My favorite spots are Luigi, Latium, Goethe which is the language center of German but it has a cool restaurant, and Kiotori or O'Viet.

Is the nightlife good in Rabat? Where is good to go?

Yes, there are a lot of places. Some of them:

  • Sence club
  • Tapis rouge
  • What advice would you give future students heading to Rabat?

    First put a good studing and living plan, just to be organised and ready, and choose a good university you will like and choose a good location for your accommodation. And good luck!
