Living in Quezon City is a lot of fun, there are a lot of places to go to and explore. You can find shopping malls, universities, restaurants, art galleries and indie places, parks, bars and many many more. It is a great place to live in especially for the youth :)

What is the student lifestyle like in Quezon City?

Quezon City is filled with a lot of universities so a lot of the places cater to this market. You can find cheap but delicious hole in the wall restaurants, as well as chic places to dine, and there are always numerous activities and events around the city one could attend.

How much does it cost to live in Quezon City?

Probably around PHP 7,000-10,000 PHP or about $250 a month depending on the location and type of housing (apartment, condominium, dormitory).

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Quezon City? Is there any advice you can give?

It is quite difficult but I think if you start looking for accommodations early it would be easy. It would also be an advantage if you contacted someone from there who could help you, especially since there are a lot of places for rents around universities.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

There are a lot of different types of food in Quezon City. You can find any cuisine you are craving for as there are a lot of food markets, shopping malls and commercial areas that cater to this. My favorite place to eat at are the hole-in-the-wall restaurants at Maginhawa Street. Not only is the food cheap, unique and delicious, the restaurants are a great place to chill and hang out.

What places would you recommend visiting in Quezon City?

I would recommend visiting the University of the Philippines - Diliman Campus, Katipunan and Maginhawa Streets for food and entertainment, as well as art events and parties, the Quezon City circle and Tomas Morato. For a restaurant, one shouldn't miss Van Gogh is Bipolar.

Very good. Most of my favorite restaurants are Xocolat in Katipunan Avenue, Likha Diwa along CP Garcia Avenue, Friuli, Pino, Burger Project, Snack Shack, Leona's, and Mexican Express at Maginhawa Street. A must try is Van Gogh is Bipolar at Maginhawa Street! The food and overall experience is unbelievable.

Is the nightlife good in Quezon City? Where is good to go?

There are a lot of bars around the Tomas Morato area.
