What is the student lifestyle like in Pune?

1. many students from different cities and even from abroad
2. easy to mix with them
3. Pune is one of the big and metro city where you will find all the facilities
4. I myself like this place very much compare to other cities.

I love PUNE....

How much does it cost to live in Pune?

House Rent - approx apartment (1 living room, 1 bedroom, 1 kitchen) - ranges from : 120 Euros - 300 Euros

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Pune? Is there any advice you can give?

no, its very easy to find the accomodation. Normally ,I observed, most of the foreigners lives in some places like:

1. Koregaon Park (Expensive)

2. Viman Nagar (I stays in this place in Pune :)) many students lives here as there is one of the Symbiosis Colleges in Viman Nagar.

3. Aundh

4. SB Road and Model Colony

5. Kalyani Nagar

6. Boat Club Road(Very Expensive frm Indian Perspective)

Many more..

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

You can get any type of food. Pune has lots of different restuarant like Italiene, European, KFC, McDonalds, Papa Johns, Pizza Hut, Dominos, Mexican, Japanes, Chinese etc

But many more..you will not get any problems wiith the food. I am sure you will get it whatever you want.

What places would you recommend visiting in Pune?

1. Pune implies the Historic Significance of Indian Culture and thus it has lots of places to visit.

example:

1. Agah Khan Palace,
2. Shaniwar Wada
3. Lavasa - (about 50 KM from Pune)very small and beautiful City constructed on the mountains and based on the European design. (worth to visit this place)
4. Lonavala/Khandala - (About 60 KM from Pune) a hill station with lots of greenary and water falls and Dams(worth to visit this place)
5. Mumbai - 180 KM from Pune
6. Alibaug - 120 KM (lots of beautiful beaches to relax but very calm with no lots of people).
7. Goa - (Every body knows, this is the best tourist place) (Worth to visit) (600 Km from Pune)
8. Mahabalshwar - Hill station and are on the top of the mountains and farms of strawberries (120 KM) (worth to visit this Place)

Is it good to eat out in Pune? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

1. Yeah, the food is very good there.
2. The best part is, you will get any kind of Authentic cuisine like Italien, Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, European , and Ofcourse Indian.

2. Polka Dots - very Nice cafe
3. Store Water Grill
4. Hard Rock Cafe

Is the nightlife good in Pune? Where is good to go?

1. Yes night life is good there.
2. However I think its like it is not the whole night, the disc and pub normally gets closed around 1-2 in the night.

What advice would you give future students heading to Pune?

1. Very Nice City to Stay and spend time and visit.
2. Lots of young people and students
3. You will definitely enjoy it.
