What is it like to live in Pune? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Pune is the best city to live in India. The city has a soul which transcends down to any individual who steps foot. The soul is so vibrant and positive that it gives the city a very unique identity.

What is the student lifestyle like in Pune?

Pune is known as the Oxford of the West. It sports the best educational institutes in the country and it by itself is a student city. It's the perfect place for any student to boost her/his career.

How much does it cost to live in Pune?

Pune can be a bit expensive considering it is in the state of Maharashtra. INR 20,000 inclusive of accommodation, travel and food.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Pune? Is there any advice you can give?

Finding accommodation can be difficult. The best thing is to look at Flat and Flatmates Pune, on Facebook.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food is okay. My favourite dishes include misal pau, vada pau among others.

What places would you recommend visiting in Pune?

1) Koregaon Park ( just take in the ambience)
2) Shaniwar Wada
3) Aga Khan Palace
4) Dagru Seth Ganesh Temple

Is it good to eat out in Pune? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes.

Is the nightlife good in Pune? Where is good to go?

Not a partying person.

What advice would you give future students heading to Pune?

Keep your head down and work, have belief and faith and the city will reward you. That's my promise and advice.
