Experience in University of Pecs, Hungary by Zsófia

Generally, what is University of Pecs like?

I go to the Faculty of Business and Economics, so I can tell you about this. In general, the faculty is in the top of universities in Hungary, so if you study here, your degree is valuable. There is an English program, so we have international students as well.

What are the facilities like?

The building has been renovated lately, and every classroom is well equipped.

What are the tutors like?

Lots of our teachers and professors are well known, and those who teach at the English program, speak very good English.

Are the lessons easy in University of Pecs?

It depends on what you study. But normally you can pass every course, but Statistics, Macroeconomics and sweet things like these are more difficult! (But maybe they were just my weaknesses :D )

Does the University organize activities? If so, what are they like?

One of the student organizations usually takes care of international students. This year, for example, they made Halloween party and Santa party, and things like that.

Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?

As I wrote above, the business faculty is among the bests in the country, so yes, I think we can say that the teaching is of high quality.

Are there any stories you can share?

If you study here, you have to visit the faculty party minimum once! It is always on Wednesdays, in Est Cafe. Don't worry, if you come here, you will know! ;)
