so we need to share flat in a residence that is near the university,it's not pretty expensive and has lot of erasmus students?

Hei Sara is the Palachova residence owned by the Charles University too? Where are you going to study?
I was checking on the web, and I saw that the Charles University control more than 12 dormitory, and that even if you are not from Charles Univ. you can apply! I'm not understanding why the hell there is this monopoly in this sector:)
To everyone: what you think about making a group on facebook too, so that we can reach even all the erasmus stud. that don't know this forum? Does it sound good?

Haha I think it's just because months ago (at least in Spain) everyone joined to stupid groups like for example "I like cheese" lol ... now we join to stupid pages XD

The fact is that I can cancel myself from 10-20 groups, but it keeps saying that I'm in too many groups o.O

I did create even a fan page, so that people with to many groups can join it to:) ahahahah

I think you can join the group if someone invites you even if you are in too many groups

I'm so confused about the dorms now. 12 dormitories for Charles? Does anyone have a list of them or something?

The university has probably 12 but theoretically Hostivar is the only one for Erasmus students.
Amanda sent them an email asking for accommodation even if she was not from the Charles U. and they told her it was not possible (or it is but you have to pay more money and probably you will be in the hotel part, not the erasmus part)

I'm starting to think about finding an apartment, because dorms sound fun, but really stuffed too. And from the pictures I've seen....not sure if I'm able to survive a 5 month long party :D

We all probably will look for an apartment some weeks after arriving there, I'm sure. I prefer a flat too, but staying some weeks at the dorms means meeting a lot of Erasmus and looking for some people you get on with to rent a flat ;)

Hey everyone! good to see people from other countries! I thought we were going to conquer Prague! I'm gonna go to Life Science University even though I'm study business...I agree with everything you said! drink competiton and all those things...sound fun!
